Welcome to Delphos Ohio, America’s Friendliest City, a place steeped in tradition and heritage. As Mayor, I invite you to explore our website and plan a visit to our city.
Delphos offers an excellent quality of life which is illustrated in our welcoming neighborhoods, award winning school systems and diverse recreational opportunities. The city’s historic charm is displayed throughout our downtown area.
Located in northwest Ohio, Delphos has a population of 8,000 people concentrated within a three square mile area. The city is uniquely located within three different counties, and includes the historic Miami-Erie Canal and the Lincoln Highway, the first coast-to-coast highway in the country. Both intersect in the heart of the city. Each year Delphos celebrates its history with an annual Canal Days Festival.
I hope our website assists you in understanding what makes Delphos such a great community. For residents who have already made Delphos home and for those who may be interested in learning more about the city, I encourage you to browse our site to find out more. If you have questions, please contact the City Building at (419) 695-4010.
As Mayor, I welcome you to our city and invite you to discover the many great things Delphos has to offer.
Michael Gallmeier, Mayor
